Janka Nabay is a wildly charismatic DC-based Sierra Leonean singer whose hard-driving dance music is derived from bubu, a centuries-old tradition he says is rooted in witchcraft. Janka and his band, The Bubu Gang, stop in for a first-ever WFMU session tonight - right before heading to Brooklyn to play at Secret Project Robot in Bushwick.
