Bill Zebub:

People download this show because they cannot attend live. I see no harm in getting hooked on a song this way because the radio station pays royalties. But it is my fervent hope that when you love a song, you will honor the band and buy what you adore so that you may hear it in the best quality, and so the band gets a small piece.

I watch movies online and see plenty commercials have no idea if the artists are getting paid for that

Bill Zebub:

My primary intention is to create love for the music. Even if a listener parasitically feeds from a stream, love of the music may lead to attending a show or financially supporting in another way. But metal is so despised that the first battle is to awaken the sleeping ear. This war can be won, but the right-click behavior cannot be stopped. So music-appreciation is the only goal that can be achieved here.
