	11:49pm Robert: Is not "retarded" (preceded by "mentally" or other applicable adverb, e.g. physically, developmentally, etc.) not still accepted when used precisely? It applies in any case normal development is held back. But I know what you mean about being challenged very hard. This lady got upset at my attempts to get her to pronounce 2-dig. nos. I was activity dir. briefly at the nursing home, and couldn't figure out much else to do for/with her.
