	♥ 10:57pm efd: Julie always points out the similarity to the Moody Blues as well... not sure if that was on purpose. I guess "resort" is pretty close, but not necessarily a fancy upscale place.
	♥ 11:01pm pacific standard simon: Americans don't like doing holidays as a group, unless it's upscale, or a bus tour. I think the British thing for holiday camps is closely related to their tradition of pub singing.
	11:03pm john: That's pretty much it, Evan. Butlins is not an upscale place at all, but a chain of resorts specifically for working class families to get away for a week or two and have their days and nights filled with activities, starting at a time when nobody else was really doing that. I think it's gone a little further upmarket in this age of cheap flights abroad; the chain is certainly smaller than it used to be.

	11:03pm john: That's pretty much it, Evan. Butlins is not an upscale place at all, but a chain of resorts specifically for working class families to get away for a week or two and have their days and nights filled with activities, starting at a time when nobody else was really doing that. I think it's gone a little further upmarket in this age of cheap flights abroad; the chain is certainly smaller than it used to be.
