Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:08am Ken From Hyde Park:

Call before you dig this music (dial 811 reference because the date is now 8/11).
  12:09am JakeGould:

811 = Super Moon. Makes ya think!
  12:10am Steve-O:

Hey, Therese. How are you today? =)
  12:11am coalhard:

I have one foot on my tombstone one foot in my 7-11 and the other foot on my radio
Avatar 12:23am KP:

Is this Klaatu
  12:23am coalhard:

I heard the neatest song the other day(not a request) by Pogo I think called unBirthday from 2013 on wonderland ep ?
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:25am Ken From Hyde Park:

Someone buying up the vinyl records? www.nytimes.com...
Avatar 12:26am BadGuyZero:

Barada nikto.
  12:27am JakeGould:

This was a voicemail?
Avatar 12:27am BadGuyZero:

Nightmare fuel.
  12:28am JakeGould:

This and “Calling Occupants of Interplanetary Craft” is just really creepers.
Avatar 12:29am BadGuyZero:

That was like amEdeo's tribute to The Residents.
Avatar 12:32am egal:

Nothing says fun like Rambo the Racoon.
Avatar 12:34am BadGuyZero:

I enjoyed it. But I am not saying "greatest sci-fi movie ever!" like many of my friends are.
  12:35am JakeGould:

“Rambo” reminds me that Menachem Golan of “Cannon Films” fame passed away recently.
  12:35am coalhard:

Perfect timing for a Nillson song!!!!
  12:43am coalhard:

I think there is going to be an award for this show tonite somebody cue the radio make up man even though my radio looks good as is
  12:44am KP:

Love Geno. Thanks
  12:46am KP:

What was (or wasn't) the greatest sci-fi movie ever
Avatar 12:48am egal:

I'd go with Scanners or Zardoz.
  12:52am coalhard:

New pictures out today from google moon seem to show a humanoid standing on the mooooon
  12:55am coalhard:

link is at coast to coast website
  12:55am KP:

Christopher Denny has an incredible voice!
  12:56am coalhard:

his name is unknown to me --but noted
Avatar 1:00am BadGuyZero:

Both Coreys were in "License to Drive." They were both in "The Lost Boys" too.
Avatar 1:02am BadGuyZero:

I went to see "The Lost Boys" on a first date.
  1:04am corey:

You are funny therese.
  1:04am coalhard:

The brain is a funny organ --"I forgot what I was going to say"--but pretty sure it wasn't important
Avatar 1:05am BadGuyZero:

I bet EFD plays some songs that have laser whips.
  1:06am johnk77:

The Lost Boys working title was
Vampires of Santa Cruz
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:06am Ken From Hyde Park:

I picked up "Lost Boys of Sudan" from the library once. Much different from "The Lost Boys."
Avatar 1:12am BadGuyZero:

Tina Turner's saxophone player covered The Call's "I Still Believe" in "The Lost Boys."
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:15am Therese:

Wow. Was it good?
Avatar 1:16am BadGuyZero:

There were a lot of cover songs in that movie. Echo & The Bunnymen covered "People Are Strange," INXS and Jimmy Barnes covered The Easybeats' "Good Time" and Roger Daltrey covered "Don't Let The Sun Go Down On Me." There were probably others. Those are the ones I recall.
  1:16am coalhard:

We have quantum computers today that cannot think as fast as BGZ? WTF?
Avatar 1:17am BadGuyZero:

It was ok. From what I recall it was very similar to The Call's version.
Avatar 1:19am BadGuyZero:

Except it had saxophone. Lots and lots of saxophone.
  1:20am coalhard:

See what I mean I would not know a saxophone if I sat on one
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:20am Therese:

I always thought it weird that the vampires had an enormous Jim Morrison portrait in their lair, but they chose to use a cover of "People are Strange."
Avatar 1:24am BadGuyZero:

Ray Manzarek produced Echo & The Bunnymen's version. He produced the self-titled album they released around that time. He played organ on "Bedbugs & Ballyhoo" from that album.
  1:26am coalhard:

Someday the humans will lose control and the machines will take over chalk it up to evolution
Avatar 1:29am BadGuyZero:

I'm scanning covers for my singles blog. I didn't know that Neneh Cherry was the female vocalist on The The's "Slow Train To Dawn."
  1:30am coalhard:

Our planet may be last planet that still occupied by life forms
  1:33am coalhard:

If we kill the machines we go back into the caves but at least we would be humanity
  1:38am coalhard:

But then we wouldn't have a machine to kill alien machines --we are screwed
Avatar 1:41am BadGuyZero:

That total time of that Tony Molina record is under twelve minutes.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:42am Harry Cataracts:

So way back in Feb a nervous gray haired guy was stuck infront of the mic on your pledge show. You vocally took his hand and calmed him like a first grader's mother at his first public speech.
So I am listening here tonight and just wanted to say that week in week out you play amazing music You're the best, Therese
Avatar 1:42am BadGuyZero:

Miniature Minotaurs Meteor Shower
Avatar 1:48am Joe B:

Teen vampire movie soundtracks are alright if you like saxophones
  1:48am JakeGould:

Late to the party but will just say, “Lost Boys,” “The Princess Bride” and “Raising Arizona” are three 1980s films I used to really love but I just cannot watch at all anymore. They really aged badly. Really.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:49am Therese:

Joe B- How come I can't click like on comments?!
Avatar 1:51am BadGuyZero:

I fear that Joe B is correct.
Avatar 1:52am Joe B:

Must disagree on Raising Arizona. still great!
  1:53am coalhard:

Is there a kink in the machine?
Avatar 1:53am Joe B:

show sounding great Therese! Got me through another late night traffic jam at the Holland Tunnel. Though I did miss Bevis Frond once I finally got into said tunnel.
  1:55am coalhard:

I had sex once also but wasn't so melodramatic
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:55am Therese:

Thanks, Joe!
  2:00am coalhard:

I think there are one or two adults here the rest are leaf blowers---KIDDING I learn so much on comments --love it
  2:14am coalhard:

I know bush gave them a butt load of superior weapons but they must disarm now
Avatar 2:23am Hoboken Jack:

Just came back from seeing Roky's pal Will Sheff open for Rock*A*Teens
Avatar 2:30am BadGuyZero:

When I get that feeling I need saxophone healing.
  2:46am coalhard:

I just had wardrobe malfunction tucked curtain in pants with shirt by mistake as I walked to bathroom glad everyone looking at other moon
Avatar 2:53am Hoboken Jack:

Despite the physical distance, I could imagine Dancing Tony booking the Stickmen.
Avatar 2:56am BadGuyZero:

This Nude Beach track has a Lindsey Buckingham feel to it.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:56am Ken From Hyde Park:

Thanks for a great moon-lit show, Therese. Have a good week!
Avatar 2:57am Hoboken Jack:

Hmm i like this Nude Beach sound a bit more than the straight-up power-pop of their second album (which i also like) (even if i left before their set last night).
  2:58am coalhard:

so fun love you
Avatar 3:00am BadGuyZero:

Great show as always, Therese!

Have a great week, everyone. See you back here next time.
