Hey,hey, Dave Bombay! I,too, have seen the truth: if at first you don't succeed, you're running about average. Good morning.
Avatar 6:07am Dave Bombay:

Hey there Sem! A good morning to you!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 6:11am fred:

Welcome back Dave, and good morning Sem
Avatar 6:12am Dave Bombay:

Thanks fred! It is nice to be back! I missed you guys!
Avatar 6:18am Sem Chumbo:

Hiya, fred. Do you love Paris in the Fall?
Avatar 6:18am bibi:

even a sandwich doesnt make sense, too much bread. ill go for a knuckle tartine.
Avatar 6:23am bibi:

oookay, so now i just understand !!!'s masterpiece's title.
thx dave.
Avatar 6:29am Sem Chumbo:

@ bibi. It has been a while, how's it going?
Avatar 6:33am bibi:

salut sans plomb.
a bit hung over, hoped for scotlands independence.
but more prosaically summer's eventually here, dave on tables, so fine.
how about nova scotia ?
Avatar Swag For Life Member 6:33am mauri:

hey dave and all. gotta love this style japanese songs.
great stuff.
B4 reminded me of this
Avatar 6:35am Sem Chumbo:

@bibi: lovely here, and no doubt the ultra-Scottish in New Scotland are a wee bit hung over as well. They love the old sod and have no use for the Limeys ;-D
Avatar 6:36am Sem Chumbo:

Hey, it's mauri the muffin man.
Avatar 6:41am bibi:

what i liked about this independence movement was that -even considering oil- scotland is definitely not the richest part of uk. economics were not a major motivation... (more questionable for catalunya, flanders, etc.) but i dont want to get in a political storm amid this gorgeous retrojap set.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 6:43am Revolution Rabbit Nov63:

...Aye ! Next time lad - we take up this Vote sober ! ...then you'll see...
...Today I learn what 'tartine' means - I have a vinyl lesson in Additive Colors - & I have my suspicions about the Truth graphically confirmed
...& I've only just got up...
Avatar Swag For Life Member 6:43am fred:

Looks like I will have to hit the archive later. For some reason people at work expect me to interact with them today, so I missed most of the first set
Avatar 6:44am Dave Bombay:

Thats a cool link @mauri! Thanks!
  6:44am SeanG:

Welcome back!
Avatar 6:47am Dave Bombay:

Ah crap- Its the way of the road I guess Fred. Catch you in the archives!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 6:50am Revolution Rabbit Nov63:

...the Scottish vote is disappointing - as many say they were more Liberal than London & felt under-represented - but maybe in some ways it was practically too big a step to be their own nation just yet; this vote happened once, it could happen again...
Avatar Swag For Life Member 6:50am fred:

I don't really care whether Scotland remains part of the UK, as long as it stays within the EU. I just don't want tariffs on whisky
Avatar 6:50am Dave Bombay:

Thanks SeanG! Its good to be in this stinky ol studio again! :)
Avatar 6:51am Dave Bombay:

Well said Fred
  6:52am kat330:

Wow -- just tuned in and immediately was grabbed by the sounds. Can't stay here today, but so glad I found you, Bombay!
  6:53am Grant:

We here in NZ can sympathise with the Scots. There's a general election here tomorrow and unfortunately, it looks like the National Party (our version of Repub's, Conserv, etc) look likely to scrape back in, damn it.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 6:54am sinister dexter:

good morning wow
Avatar Swag For Life Member 6:56am Revolution Rabbit Nov63:

...I always think WWII followed the Depression: take the money out, people get Conservative, Nationalistic, & Anti-Immigrant...& of course we've had the Great Recession...if you listen to Chomsky or Dave Emory types (& many others) - you're inclined to think not by accident...
  6:59am Grant:

11pm Fri evening here in NZ. Time for a snooze before voting tomorrow morning. Have a good Friday, everyone !
Avatar 7:06am Dave Bombay:

Kat330 - Glad you found us too!
