We got a nice eggplant and some peppers in our CSA box this week. So damn fine!
Avatar 🥁 Swag For Life Member 11:19am Parq:

Didn't know that CSA is nationwide. My daughter subscribes to that. We got a pic this week of a stalk of brussel sprouts as long as her arm. She, um, doesn't care for brussel sprouts.

Parq, were I there, I'd totally trade for the sprouts. Roast em up in a cast iron skillet, yum yum.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 11:22am Doug Schulkind:

@Parq
I think CSA is a generic term for "Community Supported Agriculture." Here is the farm that subscribe to: www.kretschmannfarm.com

The local town board just voted unanimously to allow for a 24-hour fracking pipleline compressor statoin to be constructed and run on the property adjacent to this farm. Sickening.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 11:23am Doug Schulkind:

There is a local tavern here that serves nice little sides, including a crispy sautéd brussel sprout dish with goat cheese. Massive.
  11:25am earrIE:

re risks adjacent I hope they implement monitoring before it starts. Graphs can be pretty in court.

Avatar Swag For Life Member 11:28am Doug Schulkind:

This fracking shit is way beyond out of control in western Pennsylvania. Permits are being approvide for fracking in State Parks. West Virginia is going ahead with fracking under the Ohio River.

Why do companies have to frack for methane, when we got it coming out of our asses? Okay, I am not suggesting that everyone walk around with a methane collector up their ass, or even up cows' butts, but if there is a methane-producing biological process in the GI tract of every mammal, then can't that process be recreated in a tank somewhere and get methane that way?
Avatar Swag For Life Member 11:33am Doug Schulkind:

@Alex in Illinois
Makes a strong point.
