Avatar Swag For Life Member 11:02am Uncle Mike:

Go man, go!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 11:11am Baby:

Baby!!! Late start again! I hang my head in shame. Good Morning!! xoxo
Avatar Swag For Life Member 11:12am Mike East:

I'm not a fan of Halloween in general, but I did have a good time last night. My girls were a bumble bee and goldilocks. We ended the night watching The Great Pumpkin
Avatar 11:12am Michael Shelley:

Baby - that 2nd song was for you!
Avatar 11:13am Michael Shelley:

M.E. - I got a rock
Avatar Swag For Life Member 11:13am Baby:

I saw that! Didn't hear it though. It so good it hurts.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 11:14am Uncle Charlie:

I gotta rock.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 11:14am Mike East:

haha! my nephew kept saying that after every house we went to!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 11:16am Baby:

I saw that! Didn't hear it though. It so good it hurts.
  11:17am dennis diken:

Michael Shelley = "king of men"
Avatar 11:20am Michael Shelley:

Dennis - I gonna call you & ask you about the vibe backstage w/ The Beach Boys - www.youtube.com...
Avatar 11:20am Michael Shelley:

Also - I thought Blassie was King Of Men
Avatar Swag For Life Member 11:20am Uncle Michael:

That video has blown *up*.
Avatar 11:30am kyle a.:

Hi Dennis - Is that Randell Kirsch playing in the hat back there?
Avatar Swag For Life Member 11:32am Ken From Hyde Park:

My daugter & I made a costume that copied one she saw at a party the week before. She fit a cardboard box around her middle with a stuffed jacket and a mask head on her back. So it looked like a ghoul was carrying her dismembered torso. She got lots of compliments from people.
Avatar 11:33am herb.nyc:

Haha, i keep hearing Holly Jean-Vincent. All apologies (Nirvana?) to the Alex author. I read the book, and learned what a sensitive person Alex was. And a true rocker; i knew he was a punk. I intro'd myself to him outside Maxwell's, 1986ish when he was with Rene Coman & Doug Garrison. Lovely show
  11:45am Alex B:

phenomenal Johnathan Schwartz impression!! (Grt Alex C show too!)
Avatar 11:50am herb.nyc:

The book showed some friction between him and father, while i always assumed they were close (since father was in the arts). Interesting. Can you talk more? (Thx for doing the book, such a great read)
  11:54am dennis diken:

Kyle - yes to Randell; MS - your'e right about Blassie, sorry...I guess that makes you king of...dudes? BB hang is always fun.
Avatar 11:56am kyle a.:

Thanks Dennis! Randell is actually my second cousin (my mother's cousin). Sweet guy! I'll look forward to telling him I saw this great video at Christmas!
  12:09pm marc:

Jerry Lewis? Or Jerry Lee Lewis?
Avatar 12:12pm Michael Shelley:

Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:15pm Uncle Michael:

I'm thinking about Jerry Lee Lewis telethons. I vote yes.
  12:15pm marc:

Both? Because Jerry Lewis had the telethons. Jerry Lee Lewis didn't.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:18pm Gaylord Fields:

Michael, you've confused Jerry Lewis, the comedian, with Jerry Lee Lewis, the singer and pianist, in your last statement. It's Jerry Lewis' records you'd bring to that desert island.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:20pm Uncle Michael:

Jerry Lewis' "Hey Lady" rocks hard.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:24pm Tim 07030:

I have to admit I didn't get into Jerry Lewis until after Rilo Kiley broke up.
Avatar 12:25pm Michael Shelley:

Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:25pm Gaylord Fields:

There's the infamous incident when Jerry Lewis was upset about having Danny Thomas close a particular show instead of him, so to conclude his own set, Jerry lit a rubber chicken on fire, yelling to Danny, "Burn this, A-rab!"
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:26pm Uncle Michael:

Where Jerry got a coke bottle full of gasoline remains a mystery.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:28pm Gaylord Fields:

The vending machine industry wasn't as regulated then as it is now.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:29pm Baby:

Avatar 12:30pm Michael Shelley:

Uncle Michael - listener Baby is the producer of "three squares and a roof"
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:31pm Uncle Michael:

There goes my jaw again.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:32pm Gaylord Fields:

@Tim 07030: He sure was adorable in Troop Beverly Hills.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:32pm Uncle Michael:

I'm still hoping for "F Troop Beverly Hills."
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:33pm Baby:

My cover, now blown!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:33pm Gaylord Fields:

Or "F Troop Beverly Hills Cop"
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:35pm Uncle Michael:

I still have my "Three Squares..." promo postcards.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:35pm Baby:

I still have my Three Squares brain damage.
Avatar 12:36pm herb.nyc:

Ha, ya mock Jonathan Schwartz and then make a Billions remark. Go rip into BRIAN LEHRER, i dare ya
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:37pm Baby:

Mike, do you have a mic open, that you are not using?
Avatar 12:38pm Michael Shelley:

not at all - not sounding so hot?
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:39pm Baby:

You are roomy and background hissy.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:40pm Baby:

Could mic be in omni?
Avatar 12:40pm Michael Shelley:

but not on the music - just the mic breaks?
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:41pm Baby:

yes, just.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:41pm Uncle Michael:

I need to get a proper engineer to give me...erm...feedback.
Avatar 12:42pm Michael Shelley:

I'll check - but this mic drives me nuts - picks up every sound for miles around
12:42pm David in ATL from NJ:

More cartoon feet moving fast!
12:44pm David in ATL from NJ:

That guitar sounded like a cross between Big Al and Steve Ferguson.
Avatar 12:44pm Michael Shelley:

Uncle M - one more thing - Gary Calamar (I just played his song "I Got An Idea") was the B.A.'s manager
  12:45pm MrC:

For a time in the early 70s Bobby Bland had both Wayne Bennett and Mel Brown on guitar.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:46pm Uncle Michael:

See Michael, that thing I told you about the 1:1000 ratio...it's true!

That song is one of the coolest things you've played today.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:46pm drr:

I thought this Fleetwood Mac had to be from one of the Super Hits of the Seventies comps...
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:49pm Uncle Michael:

Jesse White is welcome to comment on my mic breaks any time. He'll fix my mix.
12:49pm David in ATL from NJ:

This is a hit record indeed!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:58pm Uncle Michael:

Great fun today, Michael. Thank you.
