I have wondered when or whether Gryphon ever gets played on WFMU. One of the great unsung British bands. I missed a chance to hear them live (maybe at the Marquee?) in 1976, for 50p. Heard Richard Harvey at Wigmore Hall, though, doing a Baroque recorder recital.

@ Cecile: There's s ton of cheap download-only Rascal Reporters stuff on bandcamp -- such as all the tracks I've been playing today.

I will be hitting that at home. Right now "we're god" is downloading on my 'pod.

To my admittedly limited knowledge, Oz Fox of Stryper does not augment his, uh, junk. Which reminds me of the joke about the young guy who couldn't attract women. A friend advised him to put a potato in his pants. He gave it a try, but several days later he complained that if anything women were keeping a further distance. "Try putting it in front next time."
