Favoriting Seven Second Delay with Andy and Ken: Playlist from December 3, 2014 Favoriting

The program formerly known as Dinner at Andy's, The Fuzzy Glove Hour, Whores, and The Happiness Hut. Ken and Andy, also known as The Enema Boys, further lower WFMU's already abysmal standards on a weekly basis. Stunt radio which subjects the radio audience to concepts and topics which mature adults should not have to endure. Find the fatal flaw. (Visit homepage.)

I believe I have listened to almost every episode of 7sd. At least what is in the archives.

Nielsen ratings are only logs in very small markets. They've been based on meters hooked up to TV's for over a decade.

When I first started listening to this show I was searching for podcasts to listen to while I worked. I really liked the show and so I listened to them one after the other, mostly in order. You can listen to a lot of shows in a work week.

Btw @Nick you were great in the WFMU movie.

Gifts? Are you serious? You can't give gifts to dead people! And the last time I got gifts and a Christmas tree was 1977 when I was 10. I'm 49 now never got a gift from a stranger since!

And there's the occasional recent episode that Ken has decided not to archive. Censorship, if you will.

@Mutant yeah - not all survived.

Massive respect to mutant. I'd have clawed my ears out by now!(I plan to start from the beginning myself soon. I'm only new so 7sd, 3 years now)

PS4 and Xbox One have a record and stream to Twitch option built in. No need for a capture card.
Avatar 6:15pm
Caryn:

@steve: there's been a bunch. Occasionally there's been debates on the comments boards about why the previous week's episode has not been archived. Can't remember precise ones, but some were superb episodes, but with some material Ken thought would invite trouble.
Avatar 6:15pm
vanya moscow:

last live episode (tell a boy from a girl) was great btw!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 6:16pm

7sd was the thing that got me into WFMU. So that's good too.
Avatar 6:17pm
Caryn:

I'll get to the 7SDs at some point. Right now, I'm trying to listen to the archived Scharplings in order. I might pause for a moment and wait for some of the old Real Player ones to be turned into pop-up player ones.

@Nick - yeah it was a whole different show back then. I liked how it felt like there were like 3 people listening.
Avatar 6:29pm
Danne D:

@Caryn - I don't know if there's archived of the show where Ken was off and Andy and (Crap, I'm not sure which other DJ) and callers created the song "Earth Day is the Worst Day."

The episode that I won $25 on was "20 Questions" - Basically it was a game of 20 questions, a caller could keep asking questions with a yes/no answer until they got a "no". Anyway I sorta figured out/thought the answer was Bob Crane and called in and eventually got the answer right. At that moment they revealed the code and name that $25 was placed in Western Union to me....and the entire audience. Hilarity ensued (and I did get the money) :)
