Imo's - St. Louis style pizza, I made sure to try some from there when in was in St. Louis earlier this year. And I agree - it's a different food item than pizza. It would make a good flatbread-like appetizer, but I could only see it in the DC area as a bar food like wings.

Only after I tried Chicago style pizza (District of Pi, in DC - also has excellent hummus) did I understand people calling pizza "pies" - I like their pizza and style, but like Danne had told me before then, it's more "pie" than "pizza".

I committed a good crime when I was like 5 or 6! I put a 2 liter bottle of soda in my wee bathingsuit, & that's all I was wearing, & when the person working there asked, "Are you stealing anything?" as I walked out the door, I answered in my little wee cute voice, "NoooO" & they were like, "Are you sure?" & I was like yes & they just let me walk out. There was this crazy huge 2 liter bottle encompassing the world. It was great!
