	3:42am JakeGould: FunFact: The reason there were so many post-apocalyptic and even time travel sci-fi things in the pre-CGI era was production costs. A few Star Trek episodes were specifically made because producers wouldn't give Gene Rodenberry funds, so they would whip up a script where the crew went "back in my time" to an old west set or an old NYC set since they had the sets already built on the lot for other things. Very DIY in many ways.

And the mall car chase scene in Blues Brothers happened thanks to someone on the production team finding out the mall was set to be demolished. If a driver tunes into a set partway through on FM radio and wants to ID a track, (s)he can listen to backwards back-announcing and count back to the track, but that won't work w/forwards back-announcing. (Did I explain that correctly? That makes sense, right?)
