Avatar 12:47am Larst:

playing thru the hifi here in Po(rt)land so as to expose the Wife and Cat
  12:48am JakeGould:

JJ, it’s okay. Na Zdrowie!
Avatar 12:48am KP:

Don't use headphones but do like multiple devices carrying stream at same time. They never sync so it's constant surround sound as well as stereo
  12:49am JakeGould:

“…to expose the Wife and Cat” Honestly that sounds like something a Pollack would say. I can say Pollack because I am Polish.
Avatar 12:49am Larst:

  12:50am JakeGould:

“Please, I beg you… A few batteries for radio… I trade you a few potatoes… Please, not for me… For the wife and the cat… They need to listen to music…”
Avatar 12:52am Larst:

  12:54am rw:

Listening naked here in Orange County, CA. Well, from the neck up anyway. Attempting to expose the wife and cat next door.
Hey Evan!
Avatar 1:00am ! I X Key !:

My spouse is a different hole not being exposed to the splendor that is WFMU
Avatar 1:03am ! I X Key !:

wowie zowie Last Splash was put out long, long ago in a different world
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:04am fleep:

Glistening in Los Angeles. Digging the Reef, as you might expect.
Avatar 1:08am ! I X Key !:

This sounds so beautiful
  1:14am JakeGould:

Confesh: “Last Splash” reminds me of working in a shipping department of a mail order company in Gramercy Park back in the 1990s. Back when there were actual jobs like that back in the day.
  1:16am JakeGould:

And looking at the release date, that was a few years past that job… But still was friends with folks at that job. I remember buying Sonic Youth’s “Goo” from Disc-O-Rama in Union Square after eating a burger and walking around the neighborhood, enjoying my break back then. Damn, I feel old.
Avatar 1:17am Larst:

I was in college in Boston and the chick in the apt. above me played Divine Hammer on repeat. Guess she really need one bad.
  1:30am JakeGould:

Wow. No Home Depot for her it seems.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:33am Ike:

[Insert joke here about how nothing about Home Depot is remotely divine. Every time I enter that dogforsaken place, I quickly lose the will to live, Breckman-style.]
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:34am Santos L Halper:

Thanks for the tunes jesse. G'night and happy new year!
  1:41am KP:

Weirdness, good!
  1:42am JakeGould:

Ike, I used to think that way and then patronized local hardware stores… My deal with the devil is I would rather be in a place that has decent stock than a neighborhood place that has little to nothing but just attitude.
Avatar 1:46am Larst:

moved to Portland in '95 saw SY on Washing Machine tour with folks who were brand new friends and still my best (tho have moved away), forgot about that Lee shout out to 2015 til you played it. Made my night.
  2:18am JakeGould:

Is the “Jesus’ Blood Never Failed Me Yet…” part of the piece or layered in? Because I like it.
  2:19am Kafuka:

My first time on the frow show. I really appreciate this set, thanks.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:20am jj.:

currently, only "jesus blood" by gavin bryars -- a singing tramp + strings. en.wikipedia.org...
