Tunes are kinda perfect for today. Parq: Boston First Night has changed over the years and become almost too "family friendly". When I first moved there, it had more of an artistic focus with performance artists and the like. Krzysztof Wodiczko had a wonderful projection on the obelisk in the Common. Now lots of sit down things that seem somewhat safer.

Al Hibbler was a magnificent crooner most active in the late '50s-early '60s. He was a blind dude. One of his greatest recordings was a collaboration with, if you can believe it, Rahsaan Roland Kirk! The great producer Joel Dorn pulled that session together for Atlantic Records. Amazing album.
