The program formerly known as Dinner at Andy's, The Fuzzy Glove Hour, Whores, and The Happiness Hut. Ken and Andy, also known as The Enema Boys, further lower WFMU's already abysmal standards on a weekly basis. Stunt radio which subjects the radio audience to concepts and topics which mature adults should not have to endure. Find the fatal flaw. (Visit homepage.)

From her wiki page: "A brief high point came in July 1975 when she headlined Joey & Dad, a four-week Sunday night summer replacement series for Cher's 1975-76 variety show in which she performed alongside her own father. Each episode would involve Ray Heatherton waxing nostalgic over life with his daughter while rooting through his attic."

Jeff:

For decades I've remembered just how hilarious I found a Mel Brooks show about Robin Hood called "When Things were Rotten" - I can even still remember the theme song - even though it only lasted for half a season in 1975.

It featured such iconic Seventies yuk-fest players as... wait for it... Dick Van Patten, Bernie Kopell, Ron Rifkin, and Dick Gautier! How could it miss!

I've really really wanted to get to see it again to see if I still love it as much.

A couple of months ago I got that opportunity.

It's really hard to sit through.

Jeff:

Two genuinely great shows which should be available and appreciated more:

Now and Again (written by Glenn Gordon Caron), an excellent and human improvement on the "Six Million Dollar Man" idea. I was always annoyed that the same season it came out, there was some piece of crap other show called "Once and Again" about old people in love or something which I thought caused unnecessary title confusion in people's minds.

and...
Cupid (with Paula Marshall and Jeremy Piven) from 1998 or so. It had really great writing, a pleasing air of mystery, and believe it or not *wasn't* ruined by Jeremy Piven's usual trademark smirky smarminess.

longshot, but there was a post-apocolyptic animated show on in the mid, or possibly early 70's.

Aliens had invaded and conquered the entire planet, and the story was about a human rebel underground, that, iirc, lived literally underground. I think the aliens used robot soldiers to track down and enslave the remaining humans.

I have no further recollection beyond that. Perhaps I dreamed it all. If so, dibs on the screenplay.

Anyone remember this at all?
