Boo back to school.
  9:33pm
Martha:

It's a good record and it's bad to be back in school, esp. if you over 8, say -
Avatar 9:38pm
dk:

that orange goblin song is the best motörhead song motörhead never did.

True, dk.

Ken From Hyde Park:

Heh, I was going to mention that Orange Goblin sounded like Lemmy singing.
  9:56pm
blee:

Good Friday Martha and friends. Checking in now, but heading out for Epoxy, of all things.
  9:57pm
Carmichael:

Hi Martha, hi X!
  9:59pm
Shana:

Yo Martha!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 10:00pm
coelacanth:

should i continue assuming that was X from australia?
  10:01pm
Martha:

Hello B, C, and Shana - hope all is well w/ you - and yes, that was the Australian X - great new issue of some of their earliest recordings - their "rougher' period -
Avatar Swag For Life Member 10:03pm
coelacanth:

that was badass.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 10:16pm
Fuzzy:

This song again on 'FMU...sounds like someone's watching Wheel of Fortune in the background...oh, it's gone now...
  10:18pm
Martha:

Yep - that casino record seems to be "popular" -
Avatar Swag For Life Member 10:18pm
Siriusly:

Massaging those neurons
  10:19pm

Daddy loves his Matching Mole.
Avatar 10:19pm

I dig that casino record, now where's my tokens and my new drink!
  10:20pm
Martha:

Would have been great if they had recorded something in the day care center - or night care -
  10:27pm
Michael:

Sunday Painters—Wollongong, Australia!
  10:31pm
Shana:

Barnaby pointed out that ALF stands for Alien Life Form....
  10:31pm
Martha:

Great, generally overlooked band from that period -
  10:36pm
Martha:

Ah! that makes sense - still, an ugly faux muppet, sorry -
  10:40pm
Shana:

I understand the show had quite the satirical edge....but I couldn't get past the muppet thing myself...
  10:47pm
Martha:

Yeah - agreed - though it may be in re-runs now (what isn't) so you could try again w/ your eyes closed -
  10:55pm
Carmichael:

How lame am I? I just replaced every light switch and wall outlet in my back hallway. At least I had FMU Cranking!
  10:56pm
Martha:

Well, at least you aren't procrastinating by, let's say, making sure all your National Geographics are in chronological order...
  11:05pm
Carmichael:

He he, you must know me. That's exactly why I tackled a 75 yo house on a 3 day weekend. But its over, let the Martha jams continue.
  11:09pm
blee:

Sweet Jesus, this sounds rather recursive. I like it. Interesting choices tonight, Martha.
Weird moods. It may just be me.
  11:10pm
Carmichael:

Kinda Satanic, in a good way.
  11:11pm
Martha:

Yeah - mood-wise we're a little scattered, I agree -
Avatar 11:21pm
Revolution Rabbit Nov63:

- Killer show ! (duh...as ever.)
  11:22pm
Martha:

Thanks!
  11:32pm
blee:

Andy's Breakfast With Blassie is a great film, in my opinion. I had seen it 10+ years ago and it has stuck with me. I love when Blassie rubs the pregnant waitress's belly for good luck. So wrong and awkward, yet hilarious.
  11:34pm
Martha:

Thanks for the recommendation! - sounds great -
Avatar Swag For Life Member 11:40pm
Tome:

.,.,.this is getting ,,, heavy ...
  11:40pm
Martha:

Stomach rubbing - SUCH a touchy thing!
  11:41pm
Martha:

Yeah, I know, didn't start off too promising -
  11:42pm
jeff-m:

Really dug that King GizArd track.

And hello to you also
  11:43pm
steve portland:

this rules
  11:46pm
Martha:

Hey Jeff & Steve - thanks for checking in! - took me a couple of listens to get into the King Gizzard - the name doesn't help I think -
  11:54pm
blee:

Draconis, I had to buy this album after hearing it on your show a a few months ago. Such an intense yet soothing album. The packaging is really cool too.
  11:55pm
Martha:

Completely agreed - that is a fantastic way to describe the record - glad you are enjoying it!
  11:56pm
Martha:

Bye all - thanks for checking in and see you next week -
  12:00am
