Gather 'round the radio kiddies, Uncle Rex is on.
1:16pm David in ATL from NJ:

Rex, do you have any more mail that you can share with us regarding listener requests? I loved that last week but I was hoping you were going to drop the hammer down on them.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:17pm Ken From Hyde Park:

Up here on the surface, it's been snowing. How's it been miles below?
Avatar 1:21pm Juke Joint Jonny:

This has to be the most laid back hot rod tune ever! I dig it.
  1:24pm Lunk Head:

You're on fire today Rex!!!
Avatar 1:24pm Juke Joint Jonny:

Show is taking an early hillbilly turn. Verrrry interesting.
Avatar 1:27pm Juke Joint Jonny:

What is the technical term for this kinda guitar impressions and patter song?
  1:28pm Farny:

FM 4E 4EVER!
Avatar 1:38pm Juke Joint Jonny:

Ugh!
  1:40pm Willie the pep:

This show is a lot like uncle Rat's 17 alarm chili...it's irresistible but it exacts a toll on your body !...mostly twisted ankles and pulled muscles
  1:40pm The Brez:

Mambo sure does get a Saturday movin'! Thanks for specially selecting it for us, Rex!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:40pm ChrisB.:

Haha! Jack Pierce, Mr. Monster Makeup for Universal forever.
  1:41pm Robert:

What's that about the ICC?
  1:49pm Lunk Head:

I remember goin to the Chesea flea market in the late 70's...it was fantastic...some great cheap art to be found there !
  1:57pm Tod from Brooklyn:

I remember those flea markets around 23rd street. Sadly they are gone. Where did all the vendors go to?...:(
Avatar 1:59pm Juke Joint Jonny:

I Said Look. My newest nomination for song of the century.
Avatar 2:05pm Lemmy Skynyrd:

Johnny Guitar Watson is my homey... or was... you know you're good at guitar when the word guitar is in your name...
Avatar 2:05pm BigLankyGeordie:

Hello all from over here in chilly England - loving the show, Michael in County Durham.
  2:07pm Gotham FX:

Actually it's Jack /P/ Pierce...

An inspiration to those of us who share his profession and a cautionary tale- he was a master of build up makeups but couldn't roll with the changes when prosthetics came on the scene. His stubbornness pushed him into obscurity. His last credit was MUA for Mr. Ed.

Thanks again for the recognition of a man who truly deserves it Rex. And don't ever be beyond learning new tricks!
  2:10pm Quota:

Growing up in the late 50's and early 60's was the greatest time ever, at least for me.
I always hear that the best is now but, I'm here and I was there and I assure you the best
was then.
Steve Cropper - 2013
  2:10pm The Brez:

Speaking of a trip to Chinatown, The Brez urges everyone in NY to visit thee greatest gift shop in the world, TING'S, in Chinatown, on the corner of Pell St and Doyers. It's been there a million years, has some cool old dead stock, and is run by real nice folks. I'd bet they might even like "Moo-Goo-Gai-Pan" by the Moonglows.
Avatar 2:11pm Lemmy Skynyrd:

has anyone ever seen Mr Pierce and Floyd the Barber in the same room?... very suspicious...
  2:14pm Marc:

Republicans are people from another world.
Avatar 2:25pm RetroArtBlog.com:

What's a Saturday without at least one monkey-related song from Rex?
A Saturday not worth listening to the radio.
  2:26pm The Brez:

More songs about "my boyfriend's Woody", please!
Avatar 2:56pm RetroArtBlog.com:

"My Boyfriend's Woody"..."69"...the playset's a little blue today.

Hello fellow survivors of the 3 inches of snow in NYC.
