Ken From Hyde Park:

I must revise the forecast I posted in Reggae Schoolroom last Sunday. The forecast recently went: snow, reggae, predicted snow, no snow, more reggae and then more predicted snow later in the week.

Been hummin' this tune all day.

Depends where you are. Central and Eastern LI are getting clobbered, 2 feet and counting. New England is also getting it good. NYC is going to wind up with a foot or so. Still coming down. NJ on the other hand got off relatively light, 6 inches or so.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 10:16am
dale:

hudson valley was supposed to get one to two feet, so far 3 or 4 inches, but snowing now. at least the wind and power outages didn't happen, to us anyway.

It's essentially a snow no show here in NJ. We got more snow on Saturday than we have from this joke of a blizzard.

It's easy to get sucked into that flight radar site when you expand it out to view all of North America & Europe.

@Sem I think that Sequoia shot was originally taken by Eadweard Muybridge in the late Eighteenth Century.

Bunny Wailer is calling out to me Mr Steadfast.

joe in LA:

Hi Robert, do you have a web page, or FB page?
Avatar Swag For Life Member 11:36am

Very good show, sir. I am listening from overcast Cleveland. Sir, you are easily the third best radio dee jay I've heard in twenty-five years of college radio listening. Hope we can hear more of you (drop me a line, man.)

Thank you Robert Steadfast.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 11:53pm
coelacanth:

now that i've listened to the archive i take back my desire for this to become a regular thing! i like the music but it's hard to endure the schtick. in fact it's painful!
...anyway if "robert steadfast" is Irwin -or whoever it is; he probably has a show on fmu & is too busy for 2.
...then again if it was 1 hour/week i might listen to it.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:35am
coelacanth:

...well i just got past the "introduction of Peter Tosh",where roger steffens is listed as robert steadfast. i had considered that during the 10 min. of the show i caught live (-the name similarity, book title similarity,& the fantasy world "they both" live in) -but didn't think roger steffens would make a mockery of the (easily mockable) more ridiculous side of reggae culture.
(...but an "accent" slips in here & there that makes me think it's not Irwin.)
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:16am
coelacanth:

...okay i get it. it's a mockery of steffens; but i'm still very curious who it is!
