Sorry Fabio.
i was among those teenage kids spending their pocket money for "real space music". In the 70ies you hardly could pre-listen records at the shops. You had to rely on the packaging and hope for the best.

We did backline for an event that featured Tangerine Dream about a year or two ago and the rider was the biggest pain in the ass to fill. SO many keyboards...I was impressed that they kept up with the latest technology, though. They required all the newest versions of crap that we hadn't yet purchased. I booked myself as a tech on the gig so I could atleast make some extra $$ since I don't get commission and I put so much work into the job weeks in advance to get all the gear together.

Belated addition to the Tangerine Dream discussion:
Just watched an interwiew with Froese.
He says in 1968, with the start of the TD-project, they wanted to erase all traditional means of music making and in the consequence they solld all their instruments. Some early footages show their noise-making experiments. Too bad they returned to instruments for their first records.

Been wanting and peripherally considering it anyway after both my parents passed over 4 years ago, so this may just be the nudge needed.

Rather than throwing a dart at a U.S. map, I did a general search on affordable progressive U.S. cities and came up w/ this: tinyurl.com... As you see, Oklahoma City makes this list, all tornado alley-ness aside. S'anyway, JT's checking out jobs in those Texas and other towns. Never in a zillion years thought I'd ever live in Texas.
