Ah, Crystal Palace lake? The great British summer, eh
The stage is modeled as a mini Hollywood Bowl when it had a lake in front.
Needless to say what with the heat and the high time we were all having, some of us waded in.
In fact I was an early wader, as the water soon filled up with folk, once the security guys gave up!
(I'm on a roll. here)
Marley was a huge influence on me when I was young and living in London. When I hit the road in Africa in '82, I took two cassettes with me Natty Dread and Catch a Fire. Made many a friend with those tapes in my bag. Met some amazing people.
