	1:45pm Carmichael: Utopia put out a Beatle-inspired album called Deface the Music in 1980, which I found to be good quality and made me chuckle.
	1:47pm Dean: And of course Rundgren, backed essentially by Utopia, did "Rain" and "Strawberry Fields Forever" on faithful.

	1:52pm Dean: Only one side of faithful included covers. My sense is that he wanted to show off his production chops. Contrary to some of the reviews at the time, his covers don't sound like impersonations of the originals, at least not quite. But the other side of original Rundgren tunes is pretty solid. "Love of the Common Man" is a grand tune.
	1:53pm Carmichael: I found Strawberry Fields and Good Vibrations to be fun, in a production sense. Not sure about the rest.
	1:53pm ?: I challenge anyone to name an album as diverse as the side 1 and 2 of Faithful!
	1:54pm Rich in Washington: Jeebus, this Dukes De Gray is pretty intense for Prog. Never heard of 'em.

	1:52pm Dean: Only one side of faithful included covers. My sense is that he wanted to show off his production chops. Contrary to some of the reviews at the time, his covers don't sound like impersonations of the originals, at least not quite. But the other side of original Rundgren tunes is pretty solid. "Love of the Common Man" is a grand tune.
