I personally don't care for the sound of those Tiny Desk Concerts. I have heard a few were some of the instruments are under-mic'd for my tastes. But they are entertaining to watch.

Monica Velasquez (Rexxy) and Ian Peksa (ex-Goodnight Darlings, Small Devices) blend bass with soaring, reverb-drenched vocals, meshed together with driving drums. Pink Painful calls Brooklyn their home, and they drove out to WFMU for a live performance.
