Favoriting Bryce: Playlist from February 20, 2015 Favoriting

I never miscue a record. I am punctual, well-prepared, and dislike clutter. Outgoing and helpful, I'm always appropriately dressed. I do not behave erratically and have excellent penmanship. My CD's never skip, and I am in good health. I like all the notes, in any order.

The relentless pounding of those distant tribal drums in Obsidiana ... i like them. Unlike in recent movie trailers where pounding drums are amplified x10 to the point of ridiculousness. That and the deep swooping synth accents. I realize I make little or no sense.
Avatar 1:00pm
Bryce:

makes total sense! best part about the synth is that it's actually all hammond organ!
Avatar 1:04pm
Chris from DC:

Yeah, that organ drone is gorgeous.
  1:06pm
Thorvald:

I love the organ in Obsidiana (I think this is what you refer to) -- I was talking about the deep synth "dives" in movie trailers which, while kind of cool, are over-used to exploit the somic capabilities of theatre sound systems in the bass frequencies. I realize I make little or no sense.

This Obsidiana track is the perfect fuel for a household argument. If anyone's arguing with their spouse right now, you know what I mean! Thanks Bryce!

@Thorvald: both artists were talking about the same thing, the lost continent of Mu. Ranta/Lewis/Plank was recorded in 1970, and its all original material. www.metaphon.be...

That Craig Leon track was the perfect fuel for make-up love after a spousal argument. If anyone's making-up right now, you know what I mean! Thanks again, Bryce, for always providing the perfect music to accompany whatever you're doing

I, like many people. need to categorize music so that it fits neatly into a box of some sort. Nothing may exist in and of itself. It must be derivative of something which has come before it. This being said, what type of music is Martin Teterault creating here? Ambient-core, of some type? what is it? Unti I know, I cannot enjoy it. It will only confound me. I need order, structure, reason.
