The program formerly known as Dinner at Andy's, The Fuzzy Glove Hour, Whores, and The Happiness Hut. Ken and Andy, also known as The Enema Boys, further lower WFMU's already abysmal standards on a weekly basis. Stunt radio which subjects the radio audience to concepts and topics which mature adults should not have to endure. Find the fatal flaw. (Visit homepage.)

rainbow wigs, huh? i always wondered about those two guys.

Happy Belated, Andy Breckman Man!

all four cylinders? what crap does andy drive?
Avatar 6:07pm

a lada, probably.

I'd like to get up and get some coffee from the breakroom, and I could do that if I went in there with my phone and some headphones on, but I don't want to, because I have to see these people every day. Will there be a show about that later? I'd like to put it in my Outlook calendar. (P.S. Outlook for the Mac is really bad. Show topic?)

Pakistan cakes or stack of pancakes?
  6:13pm
Robert:

We need Mrs. Breckman 1 (& 2?) to agree to forgo maintenance for a mo. to soak Andy for the difference.

But that could get seriously mean if Ken wants to stay friendly with both us & Andy's family.

a bike won't put out enough juice to get a hotplate even tepid.
  6:21pm
oks:

happy b-day Andy!!
  6:21pm
Robert:

Dale, that's what I've been thinking since reading the 7SD letter 2 hrs. ago. If you could get a hand that hot by a single person's bicycling, his own body would become intolerably hot.
  6:23pm
Robert:

The only way it could work would be with the hand or foot directly on the hot plate.
Avatar 🚂 Swag For Life Member 6:23pm

is this a southpark ripoff film? assless pants should NEVER get stinky!
Avatar 🚂 Swag For Life Member 6:24pm

a hot plate is probably 1500 watts? a bicycle generator will probably do a 10 or 20 watt lightbulb - dimly.

No. No. No. Yes.

I'll soak andy with a mouse, and still opt out of the SSD premium (still waiting for that porn dvd).

Bring back the "Eat flaming death" t-shirt, and i'll triple my pledge..

little "doody" factory is more like it with the ass-less pants

happy birthday andy! i asked DON McLEAN to call in to sing "happy birthday" to the tune of "american pie". if he doesn't then i'm going to his house & break his legs!
  6:31pm
joey:

why not get Andy to do the doodles on acetate and then you can expose screens and screen print away to your hearts' content....genius idea from that caller!!!
  6:31pm
Robert:

Wikipedia gives the energy efficiency of the muscles as measured in rowing or bicycling as 18-26%. That means 75% of that energy goes into heat in the cyclist's own gluteal & ileopsoas muscles. Then the efficiency of the generator on the bicycle might be 33%. We'll take the efficiency of the hot plate at 100% for simplicity. Admittedly those muscles have available the whole body for heat dissipation, but a container of water on a hot plate will be dissipating a lot of heat too.

I base my pledge on how many children Andy makes cry.

Emily Anderson:

My husband and I have been pledging for over 15 years and we always pledge to the show that has a t-shirt. We're committed to a mouse pledge every year! I personally love the bumper sticker. I was stopped by a woman at the grocery store because of all the bumper stickers. Turns out it was Jon Wurster's mom. Awesome.

Please make a sticker for windows. That peels on and off easily.
Avatar 🚂 Swag For Life Member 6:43pm
PMD:

Damn, I am tempted by the Andy Breckman doodle shirt.
Avatar 6:44pm
Emily Anderson:

Oh hell yes, PMD! That would definitely be one of the shows I pledge to this year.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 6:45pm
Marcel M:

Me too PMD!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 6:46pm
Skirkie:

What's with NPRs having "rare" pledge matching periods during their drive this past week every single day during morning drive time?
  6:47pm
JakeGould:

A simple kitchen magnet.
  6:48pm
JakeGould:

NPR is kind of full of crap. And pledge matching just means some rich person or company has decided to play a shell game with their financing.
Avatar 6:48pm
Nick from Indy:

I need a driveway to have my moment.
If I pledge, will you pay to have a Jimmy Hoffa driveway poured up to my house.
Will pledge extra, if i get to pick the Hoffa replacement to be included in in the concrete mix.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 6:49pm
Marcel M:

OOooOoOo thats actually a totally legit reason 7SD will never get her pledge hahah
Avatar 🚂 Swag For Life Member 6:50pm
-max-:

Anyone out here playing 7SD bingo? I think I'm just one square away from "Zingo!" but I'm not sure if I can count the dropping of the driveway concept as a 'mid-show topic change'. And if so, did that reveal the fatal flaw? Thanks.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 6:51pm
Marcel M:

@max: I think that topic change happened about 5 mins in not mid show.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 6:53pm
Marcel M:

I wait till the soak Andy period to pledge my decided amount for the year so the station gets as much as possible. Then I go over my budget depending on how the other shows go and feeling bad for not donating to other shows I love.

Don't forget the WFMU flag idea I mentioned this morning!

i want an Andy shirt, ill up my pledge
Avatar 🚂 Swag For Life Member 7:00pm
Ken From Hyde Park:

Like those Calvin stickers, the Andy sticker would depict him whizzing on the WFMU logo.
Avatar 🚂 Swag For Life Member 7:00pm
PMD:

@Skirkie - when did you get it?
Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:00pm
Marcel M:

Man Andy actually came up with a great idea for the marathon!
Avatar 7:03pm
Emily Anderson:

Window decal gets my vote. A Calvin spoof would be hilarious! Or those annoying family stick figures.
