	1:14am JakeGould: I actually ate a bag of knock-off “Smarties” (the pure sugar candies). I began eating it after a tense meeting in midtown. Then took the train home, still ate them. Walked home from the train, still eating them. Finished them when I got to my place and then when I went into my apartment, I put down my bag and just literally collapses (complete blackout) inside my door for 5 seconds. I “snapped” out of it like in 7 seconds and it was like I just time jumped.
	1:16am Claw!: Smarties are the WORST. Actually, Smarties, candy corn, and conversation hearts are probably my least favorite candies. Swedish fish are kinda whack, too.

	1:19am Claw!: Those are way better than Smarties. Although I think I might like those little Andes mint chocolates even better than Pepermint Patties.

They are made from Dextrose which is a wheat sugar and if you have a craving for that it’s quite hard to sate that craving with anything else. I knew kids who just inhaled Pixie sticks (same junk) as kids. @tomasz: Yes, in the U.K. they are like M&Ms but in the U.S. they are basically pieces of 100% pure powder sugar.

	1:22am Claw!: Tomasz - yes, I believe Smarties are different across the pond. Love hearts sound like the same thing as conversation hearts. They have stupid little phrases on them and taste like chalk. Bleah.
	1:23am JakeGould: Valentine’s hearts are more like Necco wafers. And those are just brittle and not as purely sugary as Smarties in the U.S.

	1:24am Claw!: Pop Rocks are great! You must try them at least once, if only for the effervescence! They're better than Skittles, in my opinion,

	♥ 1:28am coelacanth: there are some foods that i might even like,but am not tempted by them because of the ingredients. i don't feel deprived; i'm just not interested. peppermint patties used to have a better chocolate-to-filling ratio.
	1:28am Claw!: I find that holidays bring out the worst in candies/sweets. Halloween - candy corn. Gross. Valentine's Day - conversation hearts. Gross. Easter - Peeps. Gross. Christmas - ribbon candy. Gross. And so on.

	1:14am JakeGould: I actually ate a bag of knock-off “Smarties” (the pure sugar candies). I began eating it after a tense meeting in midtown. Then took the train home, still ate them. Walked home from the train, still eating them. Finished them when I got to my place and then when I went into my apartment, I put down my bag and just literally collapses (complete blackout) inside my door for 5 seconds. I “snapped” out of it like in 7 seconds and it was like I just time jumped.

They are made from Dextrose which is a wheat sugar and if you have a craving for that it’s quite hard to sate that craving with anything else. I knew kids who just inhaled Pixie sticks (same junk) as kids. @tomasz: Yes, in the U.K. they are like M&Ms but in the U.S. they are basically pieces of 100% pure powder sugar.
