Order and disorder in a freeform haze of terribly-played guitars, shorted-out electronics, found audio detritus, strange sounds from strange lands all around. Psych-punk-junk, collage, even pop. Lots of in-studio live performances to boot.

Which is good because the album songs sound way better live.
Cecile:
Brian, the two easiest shows to get to the bathroom for me were Metallica at the Metrodome and Cecil Taylor on the U of M campus. There were 1/10 the amount of women in the audience. It was the opposite of most dance nights I've been to.

-agreed glenn; although i would say John Lee Hooker WAS the best not-technically-great guitarist, but a superb singer.
Claw!:
I always feel a strong urge to post a complaint about Dylan whenever he's played on here, but sometimes people can be so damn touchy about that! I don't wanna piss anyone off, but dammit - he pisses *me* off!

- after the early 70s - he was just good. The Steve Harley was like Dylan produced as we wish he'd've been (altho' he's had a pretty good band of late)
