Listener comments!

Avatar 3:05pm glenn:

happy opening day.
  3:07pm Listener Robert:

That whoo-hoo music goes very well with this footage of Wabash College 1962 varsity single wing football I was watching on YouTube.
Avatar 3:08pm Mailman Tom:

Black Hole of Rock 'n' Roll is a tonic for my ears. Thanks, Bill !
Avatar 3:29pm Revolution Rabbit Nov63:

Brand New from The Sonics ! !
Avatar 3:43pm Whooda:

  3:45pm stella coyote:

hello! what song did you play around 1:35? sounded monk(ish)
Avatar 3:49pm Whooda:

Is This Beach Boy payback to Todd Rudgren for covering BB in Deface the Music? This BB sounds like TR instead of the other way around this time.
Avatar 3:56pm Whooda:

Sorry, I mean Faithful album by TR that did the amazing covers of 60's psychedelia.
  3:57pm marc:

This song is the prequel to Tears of a Clown
  4:08pm P-90:

The Galileo Seven: great band name!
Also: Jams Darren was a successful teen idol, for many years, it's not accurate to say he "couldn't quite cut it" just because he wasn't as big in that game as some.
  4:11pm P-90:

...not that I have ANY idea why I feel the impulse to speak up on James Darren's behalf...
Avatar 4:19pm Mailman Tom:

According to Cashbox, James Darren had ten charted hits that made the top one hundred. Starting with "Gidget" in 1959, and ending with "You Take My Heart Away" in 1977.
  4:32pm reading Wikipedia:

James Darren was married to Gidget Sandra Dee!

TV Bewitched house's facade was built using reverse blueprint of movie Gidget's location Santa Monica home; this reverse facade later used in New Gidget with Caryn Richman . . .

Every Time Tunnel episode midpoint had a predictable crisis.
  4:40pm Al:

Happy Easter Mr. Bill Kelly! Enjoying the real rock & roll!
  4:55pm marmalade kitty:

  4:57pm cool mint:
