@Ken: The Doom/Psych band, Boris, they have started mixing in J Pop elements to their stuff. Their record New Album, starts with a pretty killer straight up J Pop Anthem.
They psych metalers don't quite know what to make of it, but I enjoy it.

Somebody showed me a video of a collabo between some japanoise guys and some j pop (or k pop) girl group and it was awesome. Girls wrestling and shooting water guns, etc. Anybody know what I'm talking about? I haven't been able to find it on youtube again?
My roomate used to blast X Ray Spex all freaking night... it killed them for me. I once screamed at him, "WILL YOU TURN THAT COCKENY CRAP OFF?!??!?!" And he replied... dude, they are from the US.
Ken could have a stream the goes constantly. When he isn't playing music, there can be a mic attached to his shirt front so we can hear him grading all the DJs and staffers papers.
oh god I cant listen to whistler songs without whistling.. And now im at the office, and restraining myself to sing is difficult!
(this whistling habit began when trying to sing the For A Few Dollars More theme - very hard to do whistle xD )
[here's some useless music academicisms I'm patting myself on the back for knowing and hoping to get an ego boost from... oh boy I sure hope someone acknowledges me]
[Here goes a comment extolling the virtues of meta-commenting emphasizing how it eases the meta-commenter of the burden of trying to post something funny, clever or witty]
Otto - like my clunker , it wont die. It will just make a whirring noise on left turns followed by a kinda crunching gear sound with blueish smoke ... And it will always come on between 25-40 mph when your wipers are on
American Standard's got nothing on J.A. Sexauer for a great name in plumbing fixtures -- or in anything else. Just pronounce it & consider the possibilities.
Someone tried phoning them, got a different business, asked, "Do you have a Sexauer there?" Response: "Sex hour? Nah, we don't even get a coffee break."
