Going back in time to kill Hittler is also a very over-done sci-fi film plot.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:34pm
Gaylord Fields:

@sugarwolf: What would women do with the time machine?

@Andrew Waterloo: It's not as if I'm gonna bare-knuckle-fight Hitler! I'm gonna kill him in the most cowardly way possible. Think more along the lines of putting anthrax in his schnitzel.

@pacific standard simon: That's right! Good catch. I'll revise my second and fourth time machine goals accordingly:

2. Kill Hitler's dog (unfortunate, yes, but I'm not bringing a poisoned schnitzel back in the time machine)

4. Retrain Hitler
Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:42pm
pacific standard simon:

I have a suspicion that most women would use a time machine to go back and kick some fellow in the nuts.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:44pm

@pacific standard simon: There's still hope. Maybe one of Hitler's exes will nut punt him.

There's a theory that as soon as the 1st time traveller travels - all the others will immediately show up there (& then) - because you can't drive further than there are roads - which is why time travelers haven't visited us yet now...
- I'm an ovo-lacto-vegetarian, but let it be known I look lousy in khaki, & I'm happy to leave Paris to the French...
Avatar Swag For Life Member 9:00pm

sugarwolf- not technically, but i knew someone would say it!
"vegan" is a word invented by one man in the 1950s to mean a vegetarian that also does nothing to exploit animals in any way.
...technically,i've never met a vegan,& i never will. (even though i've been called one!)

So who's directing Time-Traveling Handbag Hellcats? Tarantino too obvious? We do have a time machine, so any director is at our disposal. But choose one who won't be freaked out by either time travel or the proliferation of, say, Instagram.

@ pacific standard simon -- awwwwww THANK YOU! those giant purple slugs are ADORABLE! (but guessing their slime is . . . not so much)
@coelacanth -- yes, you are right, technically IMPOSSIBLE *not* to exploit "non-human animals" in any way -- but yeah, vegan basically means that you do your best and do not consume animal products, or wear them, etc.
@JakeGould -- omg YES!!!!!!!!! RUTH BUZZI was the QUEEN of PURSE WHACKERS!
heck, my MOM whacked someone with HER purse when some idiot tried to grab it from her -- early trip to Manhattan, 1971? 1972? but my Mom was TINY, barely five feet tall -- guess the jerk thought she was no "threat" -- HAH!

I recall the whole family made sure to watch that week, because we knew Ringo would be on...
That show was on Monday nights, and you couldn't go to school Tuesday morning if you missed it, everyone would be talking about it and you'd be left out...
