@Ike: Not so far, although if you've got proofing experience, all you'd really need to do is maybe read the standard Blue Book style guide for legal materials, and maybe not even. Legal books and journals don't have proofing needs that hugely different from other academic text.
@LJfW, really? I took a test in legal proofing once and I don't think I did very well. Maybe I'll check the Blue Book for legal. Thx.
@Peter, but Jesse never sounds like he has a fistful of marbles in his mouth! B. Ops's music was great though. Not like I'd do any better with my dumb voice, so I shouldn't talk. I should shut up.
@Isabella, they're all from the same book, a collection of photos that were used as 'evidence' in various cases. Here's a blurb:
"In 1977 photographers Larry Sultan and Mike Mandel sifted through thousands of photographs in the files of the Bechtel Corporation, the Beverly Hills Police Department, the Jet Propulsion Laboratories, the U.S. Department of the Interior, Stanford Research Institute and a hundred other corporations, American government agencies, and educational, medical and technical institutions. They were looking for photographs that were made and used as transparent documents and purely objective instruments--as evidence, in short. Selecting 50 of the best, they printed these images with the care you would expect to find in a high-quality art photography book, publishing them in a simple, limited-edition volume titled Evidence. The concept for the book was clear: select photographs intended to be used as objective evidence and show that it is never that simple."
...go out around 9 Eastern (half an hour) & see if sky's clear enuff to see ♀Venus-♃Jupiter ☌Conjunction. Bring binoculars & maybe see some ♃Jupiter moons...
Hi Uncle Michael!
I heard this final song a couple of weeks ago when previous cohost Alfredo played it at 5am after a long night already and the room went ecstatic
