A local African art museum is closing its space and will make its collection available digitally instead of as in-person experience. I wonder if some stroker of chin and more would say something like this: in its transmission of culture and its fetishistic functions, the African sculpture tradition was the internet of its day. But whoever says that....don't let 'em in here.

@Doug: I got all sophistimacated over the weekend and cooked a mess of food ahead of a busy week. Tonight was sweet potato, Brussels sprouts, and brown rice, the last of which I fried up w/ minced shallots, garlic, and a bit of teriyaki sauce.
