Good morning; sounding fine!

Gaylord Fields:

Cilla was one of those singers who came off as way too brassy/Bassey if not reined in by a good producer. But when she was handled sympathetically, she was a true gem! (The selected song here is definitely an example of the latter.)

Take or Leave It on "Flowers " not Aftermath. Actually saw Rezillos in heyday, complete with Commander Eugene pompadour.

Missed the Rezillos recent visit to Toronto, but saw them about 1-1/2 yrs ago, still great. There is an interesting 1/2 hr documentary on youtube about Faye and Eugene, maybe made for BBC

In answer to the topic raised a little while ago...I imagine The Buccaneers heard The Boys Blue version of "You Got What I Want" as it came out in the U.S., unlike Sorrows version. Amazing song, think Sorrows' version is my fave. First spun for me by Vibraphonic Vince!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:28pm

In answer to my own question after all the knowledgable FMU-philes stayed silent: Underground Set - Arcipelago...you'll go far with Soundhound and an old 'FMU playlist!

Yay! The Forz!

Matt in Nebraska:

@Bill D - at the risk of being "knowitall@aol.com", I think "Take It Or Leave It" is on the UK pressing of "Aftermath".
  12:36pm
Mark in Toronto:

@Gaylord - very interesting. I guess the Rezillos can't really be a full-time occupation
