@RTD: I appreciate the thought and effort all DJs/hosts put into their premiums, but when you get boatloads of it like me, it seems a bit "self-indulgent" to send out a massive *data disc* of stuff that will take me months to get through, considering all the other stuff I'm receiving!

The "tripping balls" Doors song, yes!
Quite a trip this afternoon, and we're only in the first set!
Avatar 🧩 3:40pm
Matt from Springfield:

"The song begins, "Not to touch the earth, not to see the sun..." These are subchapters of the 60th chapter of The Golden Bough by James Frazer. The chapter is called "Between Heaven and Earth", with subchapter 1, "Not to Touch the Earth", and subchapter 2, "Not to See the Sun". These subchapters detail taboos against certain people (generally royalty or priests) walking upon the ground or having the sun shine directly upon them. Frazer had noted that these superstitions were recurring throughout many primitive cultures, and appeared to be related to traditions and taboos concerning menarche and the thereby following female initiation rites."

Should have known Scott would play the doors fan routine as soon as I wasn’t around to hear it. Music was not Shadowy Men etc. but was arranged by the producer Bob Wiseman. Shame based man is a great comedy music album in its entirety.
