Avatar Swag For Life Member 6:24am Spatulator (formerly elwyn5150):

Since "All Watched Over by Machines of Loving Grace" was mentioned, am I the only person who thinks there's an uncredited Yo La Tengo instrumental track in that film?
Avatar 6:25am pierre:

Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:08am ausmanx:

assume you weren't travelling on an Iranian passport!
Avatar 7:10am djsheilab:

@ausmanx I was traveling on my German passport that says I was born in Iran. I was held for 5 hours! An interesting experience though!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:15am ausmanx:

yes, in the back of current Iranian passports, citizens are actually banned from visiting Israel! i visited the Occupied Territories a few years back with a Canadian muslim from Canada. she was systematically harassed by officials, so your 5 hours isn't surprising!
Avatar 7:19am djsheilab:

Yeah, people told me to expect some harassment. Though luckily crossing back from Ramallah into Jerusalem was no problem!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:22am Adrian in London:

Aaaargh! My broadband is down for a day or so so The Contessa and I will have to catch up on listen again when we get connected to the outside world. It's like we're in a cabin in the woods or something; it's horrible!

Avatar 7:43am djsheilab:

Isn't it fab, @pierre? Super smooth. And thank you @jorge! I do have that Finders Keepers comp. Excellent but not enough ladies on there.
