Gary i didn't want to say what my primary source of Arnaldo Baptista music is! i have an "Arnaldo Baptista station" and i can check my

It's complicated, Coelecanth. They're shaabi, I guess you'd say, but gnawa influenced. They're *not* traditional -- especially not the lyrics, which tend to be hyper-politicized, to the extent the could get away with it
