Yay Bob Calvert! I hear he was a little, uh. tweaked, but still pretty wonderful.
Avatar 3:07am Jeff Conklin:

Morning, all. Even to you, lurkers...
  3:08am beedeath:

we're not lurking. we're dissolving into soundz.
Avatar 3:09am Bentangle:

Guessing by the "u" in Coloured Balls these guys ain't Americans.
Avatar 3:10am Jeff Conklin:

Ha. ColoUred Balls were Australian.

And thanks for dissolving... ;)
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:11am Ken From Hyde Park:

I wasn't lurking. I was sleeping.
Avatar 3:11am Bentangle:

Ah, our Trans-Tasman cousins!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:14am pacific standard simon:

Avatar 3:16am lurker:

Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:17am pacific standard simon:

Avatar 3:18am Bentangle:

Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:20am pacific standard simon:

Avatar 3:21am coelacanth:

Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:22am pacific standard simon:

Avatar 3:24am Bentangle:

Aussie played guitar?
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:26am pacific standard simon:

@Bentangle - I like the cut of your jib.
Avatar 3:27am coelacanth:

Ha! that didn't sink in for a second.
(but i resist the temptation to expound upon it.)
Avatar 3:28am coelacanth:

(....er,not expound...but- elaborate.)
Avatar 3:28am Bentangle:

A lifetime of making fun of Aussies has paid off well.
Avatar 3:30am Bentangle:

You can expound if you want to coelacanth, we won't judge you.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:32am pacific standard simon:

Interesting. Spar-dust is a real word.

Avatar 3:33am coelacanth:

i'm in no position to expound. i'm mochied-out.
Avatar 3:35am coelacanth:

wow! Thank you Simon. that's a good word to know. (as a landscaper, amongst other things)
Avatar 3:38am Jeff Conklin:

What the heck are you guys on about?
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:38am pacific standard simon:

Dear Jeff, must you limit your airwave comments to once per hour? I like them more than that.

@coelacanth - Cheers!
Avatar 3:40am Jeff Conklin:

I think about that a lot, Simon. Maybe I'll start doing two an hour if/when I start doing cocaine or other uppers...
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:44am pacific standard simon:

You know, Aussie Spar-dust and The Spiders From Oz. My favorite wood-boring band from down under. Beetlemania contrarians, dontchaknow.
Avatar 3:47am Bentangle:

Bongo fury.
Avatar 3:48am coelacanth:

i think that may be my favorite wood boring band from damn-near anywhere!
...'beats the hell outa that Pinocchio and his wood, boring band.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:48am pacific standard simon:

They played all the Beatle hits backwards, live.
Avatar 3:49am Bentangle:

Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:59am pacific standard simon:

See what happens when we're waiting around for DJ comments too long?
Avatar 3:59am Bentangle:

That's not the right term, is it?
Avatar 4:00am coelacanth:

my speed is sleep deprivation. ironic,no?
Avatar 4:00am Bentangle:

What do you think Jeff does during while the songs are playing - cross-stitch?
Avatar Swag For Life Member 4:02am pacific standard simon:

Avatar 4:02am coelacanth:

he knits. he's knitting an 18-wheeler right now.
Avatar 4:03am coelacanth:

when it's finished, he's packing up the whole station and moving to atlantis.
Avatar 4:05am Bentangle:

Wot? Oz!
Avatar 4:09am Bentangle:

75 Dollar Bill are the best band. I would love it if they played NZ, but maybe that box costs too much to ship all the way here?
Avatar 4:09am Jeff Conklin:

If a track is more than 15 minutes, I take a nap.
Avatar 4:11am coelacanth:

then enjoy your nap!
Avatar 4:11am Jeff Conklin:

If it's longer than 5 but shorter than 15, I go get coffee.

If its under 3 minutes...who am I kidding, I don't play short songs ever.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 4:14am pacific standard simon:

Captain Lockheed and the Starfighters was a concept album or rock opera that actually was sort of sensicle. It was about the USA delivering crappy military hardware to post-war Germany. Who knows why Calvert thought the project was worth doing, but there was some good music on it.
  4:16am John in Texas:

I believe Jeff is getting along with a hot glue gun, fashioning wooden blocks and other debris together.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 4:17am pacific standard simon:

And both Vivian Stanshall and Keith Moon have speaking parts!
Avatar 4:17am coelacanth:

and on that note, and that one; & this one now...i'm off to see the wizard.
(i'll be hearing but not inanely commenting)
Thanks Jeff!
'night people!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 4:19am pacific standard simon:

Sleep in warm mud, coelacanth.
Avatar 4:20am Jeff Conklin:

Avatar 4:22am Bentangle:

Night, man.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 4:23am Ike:

Good evening, humans!
Avatar 4:28am Jeff Conklin:

Hey, Ike
Avatar Swag For Life Member 4:31am pacific standard simon:

I'm trying to imagine where it might be evening. Salomon Islands? Guam? Iwo Jima?
Avatar 4:35am Bentangle:

It's evening in Australia right now ...
Avatar Swag For Life Member 4:37am Ĩkє:

I'm listening from inside a time and space anomaly. It's evening and morning and afternoon all at the same time, here on the tongue of the singularity. I'm almost ready to upload to the brain cloud.
Avatar 4:39am Bentangle:

What's the weather like there?
Avatar Swag For Life Member 4:40am Ĩkє:

Avatar Swag For Life Member 4:40am pacific standard simon:

So I see. It's hard to imagine. Opposite seasons, opposite sunrise/sunset.
  4:43am mauri:

avant lunch break. ah.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 4:44am pacific standard simon:

@Ike - if the Daleks quit lighting farts, it wouldn't be so crispy.
Avatar 4:44am Bentangle:

I find it hard to imagine being awake at 4:44am.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 4:45am pacific standard simon:

It's 1;44 am here.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 4:46am pacific standard simon:

Seattle time.
Avatar 4:47am Bentangle:

Meanwhile Jeff is having a sweet sweet nap.

Avatar 5:15am Bentangle:
