Turned on the radio the second “Ride” came on. Nice! Saw them twice at their peak in NYC. But when “Going Blank Again” came out, they lost me. Their direction was too twee/poppy. But their first EPs and “Nowhere”… Holy crap I love that stuff.

Alan Parsons' productions have a very distinctive sound, not easy to capture what it exactly is. There is always some surreal floydian movie feel in the sound. even if the music itself isn't anything like this.
