Ah, I remember, all those years ago, I was looking for a show called "World of Gecko" and stumbled upon Dave's show. And here we are, still going strong. So much in life results from benevolent accidents. Hi Dave.
@PSS: There is a car repair place in Greenpoint that specifically does repair work for Geico and their garage has a few nice gecko murals on it… None of them screwing…
I have a realistic Giant Gecko made of rubber. Use your imagination...

Trader Thorne? I ran across this last week after hearing the band "Trader Throne" here last week. This is a 20c training video for car salesmen and by the reviews it has it's the Gold Standard...

I saw Terry Bozzio, Live w/ Jeff Beck in L.A. on the bill w/ Stevie Ray Vaughan. Bowie sitting below on side of stage. I was shouting for Terry - he was amazing.
Sounds amazing, Rabbit! I've only ever seen footage of Bozzio with Zappa, some good stuff on YouTube. He's frighteningly good. And to their credit, Missing Persons were all Zappa alumni, so there has to be more than a little self-parody in the music.
My mom used to take me to the office when she had to work Saturday overtime. There was nothing to do except play with the office supplies. Rubber stamps!

Hello!
Linda Lee, you just reminded me how much I used to like the stationary store as a kid too. I don't think those stores really exist any more. If so they're certainly few and far between.

Or is it stationery?

i'm still listening and what perfect way to end a sunday night with dave mandl! kudos to you, dave!
Our downtown office/school supply store recently moved to the mall, a mile up the road. They claimed that the internet was hurting them. Since I don't drive, I'll be doing most of my pen buying on the internet from now on.

rw:
Dave, that's good. But you may be overestimating my intelligence/memory.
You have done a terrible thing, Dave. I started looking at my pens, and noticed that some of the felt tips are dried out. Now I am descending into the world of internet instructions for reviving them.
