	11:13pm rw: I had a friend when I was in my late teens who had a glass eye. There was a freeway overpass that always freaked him out to drive over. I always thought he was being overly sensitive until I tried driving over it with one eye closed. You lose your depth perception with only one eye and it WAS pretty freaky.

	11:27pm coelacanth: i certainly was self-conscious...maybe i didn't feel so bad about it 'cause my school had one kid with a hearing-aid; another with crippling arthritis; a few with "coke-bottle glasses"... or maybe i was just already used-to being a freak.

	11:34pm (Eyepatch) Fox: I wear an eyepatch. It's because my eye muscles tire out and go crossed when I try to use my eyes together and I end up seeing double. I'd had vision problems since I went unexplicably crosseyed at 19, and I'd always tried prism glasses. But then out of necessity I had to use an eyepatch a few years ago and really dug it. It's so much easier, cheaper, AND I get to look like a SUPERVILLAIN! It's a win-win-win.

When I'm not listening to WFMU I'm either listening to Big Finish audioplays, or news or something. There's so much to fill your head with, and such ease with which to fill your mobile device!!
	11:55pm coelacanth: i saw some bullcrap on "scishow" on boobtube saying floaters are genetic and inevitable; but i'm positive that the majority of my many (& increasing) floaters are the result of all the dust,bugs,etc. i get in my eyes on a regular basis.
