	7:10am fred: I saw him a couple of week ago. Maybe that's because it was my third time seeing him, but I was a little disappointed. It was a good show, but it was all in the same style, and I know he can do more. Specifically, he had quieter songs when I had seen him earlier, and that side was missing. I'm spoiled, I know

FOR REAL THIS TIME! With a mind-boggling combination of talent and a rock-and-roll pedigree that will leave your jaw on the floor, the members of the Hard Quartet likely need no introduction. But for the sake of due diligence, the band features Stephen Malkmus (Pavement, etc.), Matt Sweeney (Chavez, etc.), Jim White (The Dirty Three, etc.), and Emmet Kelly (Will Oldham, Ty Segall, etc.). We think that's all the info you need. They deliver a short set for BURN IT DOWN! on Friday, November 8.
