  3:24am Mark R.:

Happy Thanksgiving, everyone! Or, as our European listeners like to call it--Thursday.
Avatar 3:24am mauri:

happy thursday to you too.
  3:55am Hobie:

Happy Turkey Day from Portland.
  3:55am David Baker:

Great playlist guys... Keep up the good work - 9am here in St Albans, just north of London, UK
  3:58am Hobie:

It sucks ;)
Avatar 4:15am CDToaster:

  4:16am Mark R.:

Avatar 4:17am CDToaster:

You can call me (mta) Tony, listening since day 1 in '67.
  4:19am Mark R.:

So glad you're still tuning in!
Avatar 4:21am CDToaster:

Since I was 14. Yes, I'm fmu's longest listener.
  4:23am Debwa:

That is fantastic Tony!
  4:24am Debwa:

There has to be something good about Portland?
Avatar 4:26am pierre:

The Beacon is on Broadway between 74th and 75th Streets.
Avatar 4:35am CDToaster:

Broadway is on the West Side, 3 blocks from the Hudson River...
Avatar 4:43am CDToaster:

The first music I heard on fmu was Vin Scelsa playing the first Rotary Connection album. I was instantly hooked.
  4:53am Mark R.:

Thanks for tuning in everyone. Giving thanks for all FMUs loyal listeners and supporters. We couldn't do it without you!
  5:12am Mark R.:

An exciting program up next, everybody: Dan Bodah presents some killer guitar players in an exclusive live set. Don't touch that dial!
Avatar 5:15am CDToaster:

About 40 years ago, I heard a French song on fmu that I liked a lot, then I heard it again last year on Scott's show. If you never heard it, check it out: "Ame Debout" by Catherine Ribeiro.
  5:16am Mark R.:

Thanks, Tony, I'll do that!
Avatar 5:33am pierre:

@CDToaster : yeah Scott plays a lot of Catherine Ribeiro and Théâtre du chêne noir music. It's fantastic !
  5:34am Крис:

Greetings from Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia!

This is the best hour of radio I've heard in a long while, great post-work aural treats! Is this show always this good? Keep it up!
Avatar 5:35am CDToaster:

@Pierre: Well, it seems Ame Debout has been played often on fmu during the past 10 years. I have a pal who speaks fluent French yet he was unable to translate any part of the song for me!
Avatar 5:43am CDToaster:

Alice's Restaurant?
Avatar 5:49am pierre:

@CDToaster : I confirm, those lyrics are tough to get in
  5:52am Mark R.:

Sorry I wasn't able to play the track I had planned. But thanks for tuning in. Have a great day everyone!
