Is there a song called "I'd Love to Give You a Raise, But Times Are Tough Just Now"? That's the gist of my performance review.

SWANSATHON! till six please!
Avatar 3:23pm

here's that funny Swans song.
Avatar 3:24pm
Cecile:

I wish there was a song called "my boss makes me look bad, but he gets to skate away, and I can't say anything or I'm just being defensive." sigh. I have a new boss. Hope next year goes better. At least I got the "shows up, is breathing, and won't get us sued" rating.

oh well, enough self-pity for today. I have lots of things do to.

and i might as well just clicky star this whole damn show right now... this is off the charts awesome!
Avatar 3:28pm
Cecile:

thank you, Chris. He couldn't be bothered to turn off his phone, so I heard stupid bird chirping all through my meeting.
Avatar 3:28pm
Cheri Pi:

I feel for you C$, I used to have that kind of boss too, one that was compulsed to only focus on bad things. Current boss asked me if the review she wrote up was good enough? If not that she would rewrite it. It can happen, just hang in there.
Avatar 3:29pm
Cecile:

I know it will get better, but I am just so frustrated. People complain about me being pushy, so I back off. Then I'm not showing intiative. I'll just use all this crap to fuel other things.
Avatar 3:31pm
Cheri Pi:

exactly. but the emotional toll is still there which is why we're here and why beer's here.
Avatar 3:32pm

@E. Fox, that's b/c the transmitter is still in the Oranges, west of a ridge, while JC is at very low elevation, and I think parts of JC are maybe in the shadow of that ridge.
