Don't have the LP right in front of me, but if those were done solely by members of the Shondells, Tommy got a lot of bang for his buck here. Those mofo's could not only play, but then sing like birds...
The band broke up for all intents and purpose after a 1966 US tour. (Chas Chandler actually went off and discovered Jimi Hendrix!) Eric B. essentially got another crew together and put his name out front.

Was just going to post that -- Nothing compared to "Green Tambo," but I think "Rice is Nice" was the only other top-40 hit.
