"I listened yesterday. It's no reflection on you but I could'nt see where you were going or what you were going for. This early seventies thing did'nt get noticed the first time and you talk about friends of like Dealney and Bonnie who had records out like we're supposed to remember who they are. Then you play this long winded free jazz stuff that really grates on my nerves. And that noise without a beat and sounds like someones being pinched. Then you play a reggae song, I think you called it Dub, to what, be cool? You seem to really fetishize the whole folk thing too which is obnoxious to us who don't even care. I liked it when you played that punk song though. I like Joe Belock a lot." (Visit homepage.)

Neil....wild.....wildl.....NEIL:

I've been to General Atomic R&D facility...its pretty wild, like a large RC airplane workshop....
  7:51am
Neil....wild.....wildl.....NEIL:

FYI General Atomics invented the Predator A and B drones, among others...

John Allen:

they seem so playful at first

Neil....wild.....wildl.....NEIL:

They are used as killing machines, no doubt. Still, there may be some good peaceful uses for them as well like cropdusting or other tasks...like surveying.

well, if you want to bring it close to home yeah.

Neil....wild.....wildl.....NEIL:

Maybe useful for mining surveys or fighting oil field fires in terms of seeing exactly where stuff is buried or burning....Drones may be that is...also journalism since you can photograph a riot or other dangerous situation from the air without the discruption/risk/expense of a helicopter...

Neil....wild.....wildl.....NEIL:

Internet says Bruce and Vlady is rare...
  8:27am
Neil....wild.....wildl.....NEIL:

May I request King Crimson? They can have a weird Jazz vibe also....

@John Allen -what did you think of The Black Swan? I thought The Fountain was better, but that's just me...still a big fan of director though

Neil....wild.....wildl.....NEIL:

There is a comic strip in our local free newspaper ArtVoice (in Buffalo, NY) that features "Droney", a cute drone meant to show kids Drones can be their friend, too!

Neil....wild.....wildl.....NEIL:

I love Dirty Beaches!
Avatar 👻 Swag For Life Member 8:50am
Ken From Hyde Park:

One of the cartoons in the paper this morning showed one of Santa's reindeer and the reins behind it were hitched up to a pair of drones.
  8:52am
Neil....wild.....wildl.....NEIL:

I made a giant Christmas card with santa's sleigh being pulled by a model Stealth Fighter when at Holloman AFB, in Alamogordo, NM back in the 90's...that guy stole my idea!
