Merry Anders was in the Hypnotic Eye, a 1960 horror film that is a must see!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:13pm Uncle Michael:

Happy New Year Rex, et al.
  1:14pm P-90:

Mary Anders is a prime example of a talented, capable performer whose career happened to be limited by her not being cast in much of anything that was notable or terribly successful. Not her fault, just the breaks of the movie biz crapshoot...
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:17pm Uncle Michael:

She was hot on Dragnet.
  1:28pm pottybear:

According to Find-a-Grave she was the billboard model for Wilbur Clark's Desert Inn.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:30pm Greg from ZONE 5:

Happy New Year, Fools!
Got off a red eye at 5:30am and am SO glad to be back in the broadcast area!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:32pm Revolution Rabbit Nov63:

...I'd be merry to be *her* character actor...
  1:33pm Merl Warren:

Anders was of German, Irish and Swedish descent.

In 1949, Anders and her mother visited Los Angeles for two weeks.

They decided to remain in Los Angeles permanently.

Beat it, goulash!

Did you say the "Rheingold" sign in MPLS? It's a Grain Belt sign! Happy New Year Rex! RIP Nyes.

Antenna TV knew they couldn't compete with you, Rex.
  1:59pm Chris T.:

I signed up for Hulu a few months ago and was KNOCKED OUT by all the old stuff on there, including "Johnny Sokko and His Flying Robot", a mid-60's Japanese "Kid spy & his Killer Robot" show dubbed into English. PLUS "The Criterion Collection" is on HULU!!!
Avatar 2:04pm Chris T.:

BTW, HULU also has every episode of "The Addams Family", "The Soupy Sales Show", "The Ernie Kovacks Show", "You Bet Your Life", "Thunderbirds", "Stingray", "Captain Scarlet & the Mysterons" and "The Twilight Zone".
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:11pm Gaylord Fields:

More records need laff tracks — especially when they're not particularly funny.
  2:16pm Moe Knee:

Hulu is $100 a year- That is a lot of analog bargain bin vinyl fun ...that I can keep! No one-zero-one blackout!
