Hi William!
  12:27am Clay:

Hello William!
Avatar 12:28am Wm.:

Hi Bronwyn! Thanks for breaking the comment-related tension.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:28am Bronwyn Bishop:

I aim to please.
Avatar 12:28am Wm.:

Clay! ...This is like a really good party so far...
  12:29am Clay:

As it always is with the Bergermeister at the helm!

@t are you giving me a hackberry salute?
Avatar 12:36am tracy:

No, they also like the dark, and I just ate a package of them.
  12:36am Clay:

Nice segue into the Sab. Cool song. Love that album cover. Bill Ward's pants!
  12:37am Clay:

Oh, man. Iommi slaying me with that riff.
Avatar 12:38am Wm.:

Ozzy's platforms ! But yeah the Bill Ward stretch pants, that's confidence, man.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:39am Revolution Rabbit Nov63:

...Sabbath just grows in my estimation...always loved 'em but they've moved up so far...
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:39am Revolution Rabbit Nov63:

...drummers are like jocks, they have to dress for range of movement & endurance...
Avatar 12:40am Wm.:

@RRN63 Yeah maybe my favorite band ever.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:41am Revolution Rabbit Nov63:

...I play now & I want to be Iommi - like- when did this happen??...
Avatar 12:41am Wm.:

confession: some guys called me "Iommi" in High School, both for hair and for Sabbath-riffing abilities ...
  12:42am JakeGould:

Didn’t the band like to set fire to Bill Ward’s pants? Just for fun? And they burned him? Like bad?
  12:42am Clay:

I read a recent review which mentioned that Sabbath came up with Tull, and that a case could be made that Sabbath was also a prog band, or could have passed for a good one. This actually has quite a different sound than their earlier records. Almost more commercial rock-sounding.

...pressures of the road, man
  12:43am Clay:

No way, Jake!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:43am Revolution Rabbit Nov63:

...& Crimson was Metal...
  12:45am JakeGould:

@Clay: Way. “According to Tony Iommi, he and the band would often set Ward's beard on fire and perform other harmful pranks on him. On one occasion, Ward even received third-degree burns. In an interview with Guitar World, Tony described it as follows: 'Bill and I were in the studio rehearsing one day and out of the blue I asked him, "May I set you on fire, Bill?" And he said, "Well, not now, not now." And then I forgot about it. Later on when the day ended, he said to me, "Well, I'm going home now; you still want to set me on fire or what?" And I said, "Sure." So I took a small can of lighter fluid and sprayed it on him, lit a match, and whoomph. He was wearing these polyester pants so they burned really quickly and he was on the floor screaming and crying. I could not help him because I was so busy laughing. It actually turned out to be quite serious. I felt really bad for him. He was sent to the hospital. Later on, his mother called me on the phone and said, "You barmy bastard, it's about time you grew up. Our Bill is going to have his leg off." But things like that always happened to Bill.'” en.wikipedia.org...
  12:45am Clay:

Crimson Glory! Now that was a band. This Dark Star is cool. '81. Wow.
  12:46am JakeGould:

Sorry for the long comment. But pants on fire! For real!
  12:47am Clay:

No. Great story. Wow. That's extreme. Somehow Geezer stayed above the fray.
Avatar 12:47am Wm.:

Fuck's sake ... maybe Iommi deserved that box of shit sent to him at a restaurant table by Sharon Osbourne.
  12:48am JakeGould:

@Wm.: They are like the “Four Stooges” of metal when you read about stuff like that.
Avatar 12:49am Wm.:

@Clay yes I love this Dark Star... via iTunes I am filling in all the holes in my British 80s metal collection, and the USA & German thrash stuff is great too, from the same period...all '80-'85.
  12:49am Clay:

Must run. Sounding good, William. Have a good night all. :>)
  12:51am Clay:

I have a cool Roadrunner comp with some of that stuff, William. I also like Cintron. Haha, this Dr. Shrinker is insane.
Avatar 12:54am Wm.:

Yeah real spitty vocals in Dr. Shrinker; sounds like an inbred Transylvanian count ...
  12:56am Clay:

That Shrinker was great! What's this? Aldo Nova? No, Ramleh. Great that Shrinker is from Milwaukee. I liked living there for a few years. Played bass in a biker band.
Avatar 1:07am tracy:

ahha that's great. An excellent point of distinction.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:14am coelacanth:

hello Wm. and others
'been getting divided doses here but i think i can be here for a solid chunk of time now.
i really like that oppressive light album art.
  1:29am hola-soymilk:

Hey I woke up for this
Avatar 1:36am Wm.:

@hola-soymilk hope it's worth it
Avatar 1:37am Wm.:

...maybe have some graham crackers just to enhance the experience :0
  1:41am hola-soymilk:

Would saltines work?
Avatar 1:48am Wm.:

dip the saltines in sriracha first
Avatar 1:55am (Eyepatch) Fox:

Hullo, all!
Avatar 1:56am Wm.:

Hey, Fox! Did you really shave your head? Looks super! Need a woolly tuque now though...
Avatar 2:00am (Eyepatch) Fox:

I did! I keep petting my own head. I've got to step up my eyepatch game, though. These cheap-ass RiteAid ones don't really cut it without a full head of hair to hide them.
Avatar 2:06am Wm.:

You need a fancy bejeweled patch; black but elegant
Avatar 2:14am (Eyepatch) Fox:

Hooray for full bush!

Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:17am coelacanth:

it's a shame.they'll never know the beauty of the mystery, and the keeper of the pheromones.
Avatar 2:20am (Eyepatch) Fox:

My mom handed me her copy of The Joy of Sex when I turned 13 "in case I had any questions left". I didn't, and I'd already read all her sex books by then. Her copy of TJoS was from the 70's, with a woman with underarm hair and the man with shaggy hair and a beard in the illustrations.
Avatar 2:21am Wm.:

...I like a little sneak around the back, too ;)
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:22am coelacanth:

hahaha! nice!
Avatar 2:23am (Eyepatch) Fox:

coelacanth: Pheramones, sure, but also, stubble just feels so terrible! Grinding body parts should not be scratchy!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:23am coelacanth:

i also have the unpopular preference for underarm hair. ("fur")
Avatar 2:24am Wm.:

I like smooth or furry pits, it's all good, and some woman-musk is great, too ...
Avatar 2:25am (Eyepatch) Fox:

I'm a hairy chick who hates stubble, so I stopped shaving, and just bleach all my body hair! I'm like a fuzzy moth!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:25am coelacanth:

Fox, definitely. even fuzz (like when it's trimmed like a crew cut to look tidy) gets really irritating on the face pretty fast.
Avatar 2:25am tracy:

I have a book called "Lustgewinn in der Ehe" (Sexual Adventures in Marriage) by Rüdiger Boschmann from 1976 that is absolutely nuts.
Avatar 2:27am Alejandroool:

evenin' all! tracy that books sounds interesting, of course. nice sounds WM
Avatar 2:27am tracy:

Heck I'll scan the cover right now.
Avatar 2:28am (Eyepatch) Fox:

tracy - Does it recommend fucking a woman with your big toe? Because the Joy of Sex did, and that shit is gnarly.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:28am coelacanth:

yes it does. and yes they are. and hi A-droool.
Avatar 2:29am Alejandroool:

+1 on fur, sure!
Avatar 2:30am Wm.:

Oh man that book sounds great, I love the Germans when they get fetishy ...though on the topic of bush, my dream is to go to Japan and get a scrub down from two girls with soapy bushes, apprently it's a thing ... ONLY ITEM ON "BUCKET LIST."
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:30am coelacanth:

the big toe approach might be an option if you're sitting across from each-other at a restaurant.
Avatar 2:31am tracy:

Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:32am coelacanth:

cool...only in marriage though!
Avatar 2:33am (Eyepatch) Fox:

Ugh. Just the thought of some dudes great big yellow toenail. *shudder*
Avatar 2:34am (Eyepatch) Fox:

WHOAH! That cover is AMAZING!!
Avatar 2:34am tracy:

The whole book is insane. Like there is stuff in there that would never, ever fly these days.
Avatar 2:35am Wm.:

There are just a host of other great things to put in there, why waste time on my relatively insensate big toe? Plus yuck. That said yeah dinnertable crotch rubs are zuper!
Avatar 2:35am tracy:

It's all photographs and full colour, well, just brown, orange and flesh.
Avatar 2:36am Alejandroool:

aha great lookin' book!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:42am coelacanth:

yeh, i cannot claim to have pretty feet. it seems unlikely anyone's going to want my toes in them.
- but a discreet foot massage (that is, BY the foot) has resulted in a spilled glass at least once!
Avatar 2:45am Wm.:

...Now a good shrimp job can be pleasurable. I will suck a woman's toes, depending, and I don't need the favor returned.
Avatar 2:46am tracy:

ah hah drive.google.com...
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:48am coelacanth:

haha! i don't want any toes in my butt.
Avatar 2:48am Wm.:

I don't want anything in my butt
Avatar 2:48am Alejandroool:

"excellent tools" I'm not so sure about that, they're not very dextrous...
Avatar 2:48am Wm.:

Ok maybe the occasional ice cube
Avatar 2:58am Alejandroool:

glad to hear this Gate - missed it on Liz Berg's show earlier today
Avatar 2:59am Alejandroool:

or somewhere, earlier today... also in other news "Yasutaro Koide, officially the world’s oldest man, died yesterday in the Japanese city of Nagoya at the age of 112."
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:00am coelacanth:
