Peter Wolf
returns to The Todd-O-Phonic Todd Show to discuss his amazing new memoir, "Waiting on the Moon: Artists, Poets, Drifters, Grifters and Goddesses" (Little, Brown). Best known as the singer of The J. Geils Band, Peter has led an incredible life. His time spent as a DJ in Boston was pivotal to his sensational career.
The legendary Swamp Dogg (aka Jerry Williams) discusses the soon-to-be classic film, "Swamp Dogg Gets His Pool Painted" (Magnolia Pictures). The film features Swamp Dogg and his "bachelor pad of aging musicians" painting his pool alongside the likes of Mike Judge, Jenny Lewis, John Prine and Tom Kenny while discussing the trials and tribulations of the music industry. Don't miss the Monty Hall screening on Sunday May 4th.
Jon Savage makes a return engagement to The Todd-O-Phonic Todd show to talk about his latest book, "The Secret Public: How Music Moved Queer Culture from the Margins to the Mainstream" (Liveright). With books such as "England's Dreaming", Jon has established himself as one of the leading authors on music and popular culture and this fascinating study only further enhances his reputation.

DonJuanTijuana, of course you were. Read Gov Shummy's recent State of the State address.
If you were in Greensboro and didn't buy Jasper Hill's cheese, you did it wrong.
@Wendy...the Don is a connoisseur of all fine things in life...which obviously include Bayley Hazen Blue, Lawsons & HillFarmstead, as well as WFMU (ie. TOPT , NatetheK, EFD, Brainen, BillKelly...& so many others). Thank you for the recommendation!
Henry Hamel of Pfizer inc while I was on a business trip to NYC took me to the Oyster Bar in Grand Central in 1983 and demonstrated the acoustics of the whispering gallery.
In his fretting hand no less!!! Amazing. He was an inspiration to Tony Iommi to keep playing after he cut off the tips of his fretting fingers in his hand. He felt inspired by him and went on to form Black Sabbath.
When I fancied myself a guitarist, I briefly debated cutting off the tips of my fingers on my fretting hand to sound like Tony Iommi. I mean, VERY briefly...
