@Marcel-well, when you live in this area for awhile its The Southtowns that get hammered 90% of the time (7 feet of snow in snowvember was West Seneca and parts of Hamnurg) since it follows the west wind off of Lake Erie....up in Amherst NY where I work and in Niagara County NY near Lockport its rare to get over a foot of snow...draw a diagonal line aligned with the centerline of Lake Erie and where it hits land is where it gets hammered for the most part..

Thanks, Rev Rab. By the way, I have mixed feelings about "Shelly's" done as a woman addressing a man.

@Santos: That's a nice idea, actually. I'm kind of sidestepping tributes these days. Too many dead. But yes, RIP Dan Hicks!

Thanks Rev, I had no idea.

Like this GP quote about the Eagles "He thought that bands like the Eagles were pretty much missing the point".

Bobby Dylan, in his country crooner incarnation, love it!

Know who does a nice version of this: Dave Edmunds and Nick Lowe.

Self Portrait, not so familiar w/ that album (except for his own version of "If Not For You") - sounds worth listening to further!

True that Brian. (Phil & Don especially)

Self Portrait featured that odd hit, "Wigwam." The album was left out of a box set of Dylan LPs c. 2003.

If Not For You was on New Morning (which is a great album, as opposed to Self Portrait, which was a fun album imo).
