Billy Jam:

A short time before passed back in 2009 I interviewed an older gent who lived in Oakland named Mr. Parker - On this show back on April 18, 2014 (after accessing the audio file) I edited it and played it back here. I then gave a copy to Mr Parker's widow who really appreciated it as she did not have any recordings of her late husband. This past Sunday I interviewed Mrs Parker in which she mentions that WFMU recording as well as her life and her late husband whom she "misses everyday" - That is her on top of playlist and interview is coming up in a bit here……..

The 7 year anniversary of Mr Parker's passing was few weeks ago….Mrs. Parker will be celebrating her 80th birthday shortly - A victim of cancer, she told me that she had always expected her husband to outlive her, not the other way around - Nice lady!
