A viking ship appears on the horizon, a likeness of Alice Coltrane carved into its bow. Rare birds flock together to sing Francoise Hardy as soul hits. A sunset of blips and bleeps fills the air.

Jerry lewis was good in the Nutty Professor because it involved a degree of real acting. yeah, he just didn't grab me for his acting. and KoComedy was good, too.. but i hate his (to me) degrading antics.

Jerry Lewis and Mickey Rourke — both sensations in France. Mystère ...
  10:04am
Bill W:

Wes Anderson fans should check out Lewis's cutaway sorority house set in THE LADIES MAN, which is a clear influence on the sub in LIFE AQUATIC (except W.A. really made no intrinsic use of his set)... I find his degrading antics very human.

huh@adrian. i would say the story is making me want to know what happens, but i just don't enjoy the writing as much as the ideas. some books i read for the magic of the words and some for the story i suppose. some moments are outstanding and i have never read that spirit from anywhere else. other times i want to hit the characters over the head

Trouble: I'm a bit late with this, but here's your Lil Bub info. The Joyful Noise compilation was made in conjunction with Lil Bub's owner, Mike Bridavsky. He's the owner of Russian Recording in nearby Bloomington, IN. Joyful Noise is based in Indianapolis. So no copyright issues at all, just a collaboration from the Great Middle West. So there's more than you wanted to know....
